A burn can happen in just seconds, a burn can leave you with a scar for a lifetime. A first-degree burn may occur from an unexpected source such as a blast of scalding hot water from a shower, it can leave your skin red and painful but it will heal on it's own in just a few days. A second-degree burn can occur from a carless moment at the stove while cooking or just boiling water, it causes nredness and blisters with intense pain. This is still minor and it will heal in a couple of weeks with little or no scarring. A third-degree burn, such as clothing that catches on fire can cause burning to all layers of skin.
A third-degree burn is a medical emergency, as are first and second degree burns that cover more tyhan ten percent of the body. But if a first or second degree burn is small, and the skin is not brocken, you can safely treat it with alternative natural home remedies.
ALOE: For Minor Burns
An aloe plant is by far the best home remedy for minor burns such as kitchen burns. Just keep an aloe plant growing in the kichen or elsewhere. When nheeded for a minor burn just cut off a leaf, peel off the outer skin and apply the inner layer on the burn, and gently rub the jelly on the skin. You can use aloe as often as needed to soothe the pain.
HOMEOPATHY: For Immediate Burn Pain Relief
Cantharis a homeopathic remedy for burns is the best. First make sure the burn is cleaned and dressed properly to prevent getting infection. Now use the 12C potency of Cantharis, taking 2 every 15 minutes for the first hour. If the pain is better after this time period then take the same dose every 3 to 4 hours. Don't swallow the pellets, just let them dissolve under your tongue. If the pain has not decreased after the first hour switch to 30C potency taking 2 pellets every 15 minutes for an hour, then 2 pellets every 3 to 4 hours. You may take 12C potency for up to 1 week and 30C potency for up0 to 4 days.
