Do you think under the new universal healthcare system that mental health care will revert to previous methods?
Do you think that, now that we're getting universal healthcare, that anyone with a mental illness who tries to get full treatment for it is going to be " put away and forgot about" , just like how it used to be before 1975 ish? Do you think that, say when a mother gives birth to a child with a physical or mental illness, that doctors will slowly but surely revert back to recommending insisting these children be institutionalized permanently, because it's " easier" on the healthcare system?

I just feel I do not need the help. My housing situation is fine. Finances are ok. I refuse a support worker because I do not want the hassle and my meds are good. So if I go what should I say? Thats about as rosy as my life is but I can not see them offering me any other services can u?

How can I obtain free mental health care?
I have been unemployed for more the eight months. I have a few mental health issues that I need to be taken care of before I should be employed again. I have no issues that cause harm to myself or others, I just have difficultly with extreme mood changes and setting myself to lose another job.
