Question: Where would i look to receive some free mental health care?

I live in the state of Alabama and have no health insurance at the moment. I need to see a psychiatrist, therapist, counselor or something. I have no idea where to start. I just need as much info as possible.

Some colleges have master's internships where you walk in and you can get free therapy because the student is applying what he she learned in order to get a degree. Stay away from free state sponcered mental health clinics they will mess you up. been there done that....t-shirt Jojo
