Which state is most limited when it comes to mental health resources?
Also, does anyone know which state ranked most depressed or mentally unstable this year?
Help finding mental health resources?
I live in Minnesota and am a full time college student. I am unable to afford health insurance. In the past when I had health insurance I was able to get the medication I need for my mental health problems. After being off medication for two years I am finding that I don't know if I can deal with it anymore. Especially being in school. I cannot find any inexpensive places to go and frankly, I don't even know if I am looking in the right placesAny help? I live in the twin cities, minnesota.
Are there free mental health resources in Portland, OR?
I just moved here recently, and I was curious if there are free resources for people seeking therapy. I can't really afford to pay for it at the moment, and not sure if my medical insurance covers it I'm still on my mom's for prescriptions and whatnot, being a student, but she lives in California Kaiser . I know there are group therapy sessions, but I don't think I would feel comfortable talking with a group of people. Where should I look for one on one therapy sessions for those that can't afford the $200 an hour therapists? Do such things exist?

more specifically, need info recommendation for young family member suffering from bipolar disorder yes it was diagnosed and yes child has had therapy, etc , and needs extreme attention...meds give borderline results, and family is at wits end...12 yr old child is abusive and violent downs , alternating with periods of euphoria ups ...need info on agencies that can help, specializing in this type of disorder...please be serious, anyone else will be ignored...thanks julie, this is already going to be helpful...i will leave this question up for a few more days in case anyone has anything useful to add, but it looks like a best answer to me
